Gonzalo grew up in Michoacán, the region where the Mexican paleta was born. In the 1980s, he set out to build something with his hands, paletas made the traditional way, with real ingredients and real care, carrying the true flavors of Mexico.

About 12 years ago, Gonzalo brought that tradition across the border, founding Frozen Treats in the Rio Grande Valley. Rooted in decades of experience making paletas the traditional way, we've stayed true to that same heritage every step of the way.
